Yoga with Carol

I have been practising yoga for over 30 years and teaching it since the early 1990s.
I teach Hatha Yoga, the aim of which is to direct and concentrate one's attention. Central to Hatha Yoga are posture work and the flow of breath.  
It is now well accepted that regular practice of Yoga gives rise to many benefits including:
  • greater flexibility and suppleness of the body
  • increased energy
  • a heightened ability to relax
  • meditation techniques which enhance powers of concentration
  • improved awareness of the connection between mind and body
  • general feeling of wellness and being in harmony with oneself and the wider world
I specialise in mixed ability classes almost always involving people of varied ages. I also work with groups of older people and occasionally with children.

I am an accredited teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga www.bwy.org.uk and appear on the Register of Exercise Professionals www.exerciseregister.org.


I teach in North West London and warmly welcome new students of all abilities and ages, particularly those who are new to yoga. 

In addition to group sessions, I am available for individual tuition.

I am also a qualified Reiki Master.
